Share your Connection to World War II
As part of histocon, we plan a photo exhibition in which you will take part in. Please contribute to our exhibition by uploading a photo that represents something you associate with World War II. This could be an object, a place, a family heirloom or documentation that holds significance for you.
Your photo will be displayed in a collective exhibition during the event, showcasing diverse perspectives and personal connections to World War II.

Attention: Your photo must be uploaded as a JPG or PNG file and have a resolution of at least 1800x1200 pixels, ideally 300 dpi and a maximum size of 5 MB.

Travel Allowance
We offer a Travel Allowance to contribute to travel costs. Participants receive lump sums based on their place of departure, which they receive in cash and in euros at histoCON. This means that you have to pay the travel costs in advance. Below you can see which travel allowance you will receive:

Grant
We also have a very limited number of grants available. The grant covers travel expenses and a fee for an essay to be submitted in advance. The bpb cannot cover any fees that may be incurred for obtaining a visa or for taking out the travel health insurance required for a visa. These must be financed by the grant holders themselves. As the contingent for grants is very limited, grant holders are selected on the basis of the reasons submitted. It is not possible to apply for the travel allowance and the grant.
