2018 marked 100 years since the end of the First World War. The bpb and the Maxim Gorki Theatre Berlin invited international guests to explore questions of "War or Peace?" throughout history.

On the centenary of the beginning of the First World War, Berlin was made the European meeting point to "look back and think forward". Europe 14|14 was a joint project with numerous partners.
