This year's NECE Conference focused on the discussion connected to theoretical perspectives and educational practices against the backdrop of growing social erosion in Europe. The conference examined the applicability of general areas as well as specific topics from the scope of cultural and citizenship education, contrasting them with good practices and examples of success stories. The conference aimed at two specific outcomes. The first one was to provide a comprehensive examination of the comparability of national educational concepts at the European level. The second one was to deliver an in-depth description of the forms of access to the major target groups, both at schools and in extracurricular youth and adult education. We had invited experts and multipliers from curricular and extracurricular youth and adult education to attend.
