The Participants were invited to present best practices in all the fields connected to informal civic education (culture, music, sport, politics, ecology; activities of the museums and galleries and last but not least schools and libraries). Now, the Externer Link: IPA in co-operation with Externer Link: FRSI will prepare a publication, that will include presented papers, ideas from the general debate as well as the conclusions and recommendations from the seminar. This publication will be discussed with a group of librarians in July 2010, who will review the suggestions and will adapt them to their practical opportunities and their vision of a library. The project will end in publishing a syllabus including the best ideas in the field of civic education. The publication will be presented at the librarians' congress, which is planned for November 2010.
