The panel introduces the Genocide against the Armenians as a subject of education: on the historic crime melting the ideas of nation building, ethnic unity and territorial order – representing the first time in the 20th century that such concept was radically inforced by a genocide against own citizens in the European sphere. The panel invites to have a joint insight into this dimension of the historic crime and as well into dialogical educational approaches and experiences to deal with the lasting conflict on the recognition of this genocide, especially in a central-European migration society.
