In all workshops there will be a theoretical exchange followed by discussions and presentations of good practice. These should illustrate good examples for young people´s engagement in democratic society throughout Europe. The best practice examples should be qualified throughout by the following criteria:

  • School as a democratic learning community

  • Exercising democracy learning in and out-of-school

  • Young people and the right to participate in community decision-making
